And it's over for now (please!)

The grommits are in and it seems to be a hit...

And so it has all happened. I think that the highlight was seeing Isabella at hospital at 7am. The girls had lots of fun bouncing on beds and playing. There were a few minor disagreements over Pliget (Piglet) who is Isabella's property, but nothing to mar the friendship.

Jessica sailed through the op looking a bit like a blowsy blonde (please let me not see her looking quite so drunk again until she is in her 20s at least!)  The mix of Dormicum and Stilpane had Jessica looking very woozy and out of it but smiling widely. I must say that the anaethetist and surgeon were marvellous, caring and very gentle as we went into theatre with Jessica.

Coming out of the anaesthetic was not that great, some crying and a bit of blood nose, but Jessica went to sleep as we cuddled in her bed, and the only real wobbly was about an hour later when she had a good shout about things. Once that was over, she decided that she was hungry and ate two bowls of cornflakes, drank two large cups of apple juice, ordered ice cream and jelly and then demanded Barney on the vidie-ro. After that I had hassles keeping her in bed, and we visited the bathrooms several times and she roared up and down the passage until we were released. Hugs goodbye to Pliget, and after a bit of thought, Isabella. :)

The afternoon was spent playing at Lynette's place, and watching vidie-ro. Lukey was marvellous and hung out happily with Sean and Jessica Joan. We are so blessed to have such cool friends! It was so good to have Candice and Gio there with us, and then Lynette riding herd on the kids this evening.

Night night.
