3, 6 and 9 months strutting their stuff at St James

Well, actually not really strutting. Liz at 9 months is doing it in style despite a tum that is definitely out there, at 6 months pregnant I definitely have the puffs, and Sarah is still in the "arghgh - feeling nauseous" stage.
We took a Friday morning to head to the beach with our three munchkins: Jessica, Emma and Ella (below). It was glorious weather, the beach was ours, and we jubilated in the beautiful place that we live in. Isn't God good to us?

Oh, and by the way, Liz had her baby just three days after these pics were taken. A gorgeous little baby boy named Matthew. Sarah is having another girl, and as for us, we're "in suspenders", as Adam says :)

Hey ho, hey ho, its off to Jhb we go...

Well, it was a crazy few days! We hopped a plane to Jhb to celebrate Adam's mom's birthday and also see my little niece Anastasia as she turned one. Arriving late on a Wednesday night, we headed straight to the folks to put Jessica belatedly to bed. She did not sleep on the plane, but really did so well for such a late bedtime.

On Thursday morning we did a quick hop to Edenvale to meet the youngest Le Her, young Judah. Hey Jude!!  A very cute little man all of 2 weeks old. We met his folks on our antenatal course before Jessica was born, and I have had the joy of getting to know Eloise over the first year of our children's lives. Little Sophia and Jessica have been well-acquainted, and El a real pillar of support and laughter and tears over the last year!

From Edenvale it was off to Grand-mama in Kyasands. Grand-mama was of course thrilled to have Jessica around again and dug out all of Adam's old toys. The hit of the visit however was a small pink pram complete with dolly to push around...

Then time with some friends, time with family and here is the evidence of a whirlwind but special time.

The whole family: Anton (my bro), Oksana, Oksana's mom (out from the Ukraine for 6 weeks), Sasha, Dad, Mum, a pregnant me, Adam and Jessica, and Jane (Adam's mom).  Anastasia was snoozing in her pram so did not make this pic!

The two little girls together with Dad and Anton.

Anton and his cutie-pie daughter just two days before she turned one. A real water-baby.

Three generations: Lubya, Anastasia and Oksana together.

Dad and a damp Jessica. It was hard to keep her out of the swimming pool!

And last, but not least, Jessica and Sophia share a moment in Sophia's little swimming pool while parents look on and giggle at the antics. Sophia got hold of the hose pipe and thoroughly sprayed Jessica, much to her shock and fright!  Hee hee!

Beach mornings are great!

A Saturday morning on FishHoek Beach... we met some friends for the morning. Fortified by our croissants from The Olympia Cafe in Kalk Bay, the early start meant that the kiddies got lots of time to get wet and sandy before the African sun got too hot.

Here's Adam caught in a moment of trying to herd Jessica out of the sea.
And a rare moment when everyone sat on the blanket together. Adults: Adam, Sue (three weeks before she is due to have a second baby), Di (nine weeks before D-day), Jon (Di's husband). Kids from left: Dylan, Danny, Kayla and Jessica. Faithful hound Jack in the background investigating the sand dune.
