Addo

We arrived at Addo's main rest camp with squeals of joy from the kids as they met up with long-time pals Sean and Jessica Joan. Their parents, Brian and Lynette, also looked like they wanted to celebrate. All four kids immediately vanished off to the bird hide and explored the camp, while we set up tents and hung out wet items from Keurbooms.

Addo was a great destination. Lots of firsts: first real game reserve, first elephants, first dung beetles, first buffalo, first jackal, first mongoose, first bird hide... and some first rather scary moments in the middle of a herd of elephants!
