Before there were cars, there were....

While putting PJs on last night, Luke shared some deep thoughts.
"Mommy, do you know what there was before there were cars and motorbikes and formula one Grand Prix?"
Me (with deep interest): "What was there?"
Luke (delivering the fact with seriousness): "There were sheep!"
Me (taking a breath to hold it together): "Sheep? What did they do with sheep, Lukey?"
Luke (slightly exasperated 'cos I don't know): "Mom! They rode them, you know!"

Ah, excellent. Before there were cars, there were sheep. Can't argue with his logic!
