Fun Run 2015

The small people tackled the Fun Run with great gusto - Luke's first official run ever, much to his delight!  The gun went off and hordes of red shirts surged forward. Adam was our parental running representative and set off at an easy lope. I dashed for the re-entry point into the school to welcome back the first runners. 

Much to my surprise, shortly after the front runners and big kids came in, a small blonde friend of Luke's sprinted in (Shaun), quickly followed by my small boy with red red face and manfully keeping in front of the Grade 4s.

We have a runner on our hands! Luke completely beat the field, and out of about 300 kids up to the age of 13, came in the first 50-odd to cross the finish line. He was a bit upset that he did not get the first prize though!

Adam and Jessica made it in rather later than Luke, but finished their 2.5km with flair, coached in by the small boy in the blue hat!
