4 weeks - Our first roadtrip to see the flowers

Kerry's mother is down for a 5-day visit, so we decided to take a break on a beautiful sunny Saturday and head north to find the wild flowers that bloom in spring in the Cape. As you can tell by the photos, winter in Cape Town is not as dreary as people make it out to be!

Mum holding Jessica at a tea shop in Hopefield...

The Feldmans - note the unimpressed little person!

Burp time with Dad - on one of the meal stops.

Flowers everywhere - Jessica is introduced to her first real Namaqualand daisies. "Yeah, I am cute and I know it!"

Note: Taking Jessica out requires 1x Mother, 1x large packet of wipes, several nappies and lots of munchies for the accompanying adults, along with compulsory stops at great view spots or coffeeshops. Not that hard actually :). We had a really lovely day out, and are still oohing over the flowers.
